Diane Walsh

Diane Walsh

After a 25 year career in IT, Diane gave up her office space and was accepted to the Animal Biology program at the University of California, Davis.  Diane graduated with honors in 2016.   Before moving to California, she was a Board member of one of the largest specific breed rescue organizations in the Midwest, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus, from 2003 through 2011 learning all aspects of working with rescue dogs and their special needs.  During this time she spent a month rescuing dogs on the streets of New Orleans following hurricane Katrina. Diane’s rescue work is featured in two books available on Amazon.com “Rescued” Saving Animals from Disaster by Linda and Allan Anderson and “Orphans of Katrina” by Karen O’Toole.  At U.C. Davis Diane has added to her animal care skills by working in the Horse Barn, Goat Barn and “Bird Barn” learning the general care and feeding or domestic animals.  Endless Pawsibilities brings together Diane’s love of animals, nature and photography.  Her photography work with scorpions entitled “The Face”  photographed at the U.C. Davis Biology Lab was featured in the Davis yearly gallery showing in June, 2012.    Diane loves being a part of the Bay Area community and gives back as a volunteer photographer at Berkeley Humane Society photographing dogs and cats for adoption.   Diane lives in El Cerrito with her partner, Lawr and their 2 rescued dogs Jeep and Pavlov and their long suffering rescue cats— Miracle and Madison who put up with all the dogs running around the house on a continuous basis.
