DOG WALKING – Group Adventures! – Leash Walks – Potty Breaks.
Stuck at work for long days worrying about your dog being home alone? Don’t’ give them a walk, give them an outdoor adventure! We don’t just walk your dog, we take them out into the most beautiful parks in the Bay Area for off-leash fun. Your dog will race along the beach at Albany Waterfront Park, commune with the cows at Wildcat Canyon, fetch balls at Point Isabel, or just enjoy the scenery at Tilden Park and other scenic Bay area locations where dogs are allowed off leash. Pick up and drop off service is included.
For the dog who cannot be off-leash or is not dog-friendly enough for a group walk we provide a 30-minute leash walk around your neighborhood. Leash walks may also be appropriate for senior dogs or those recovering from an illness or surgery who may need individualized attention. Individual leash walk availability may be limited due to group walks but can usually be accommodated.
For the person who might just be stuck at work and need their dog let out in the yard, there is also a potty-break option (limited availability but we will always do our best to accommodate emergency situations). Potty-breaks are a 15-minute visit to let your dog out into the yard, make sure the water bowls are filled and provide them with a treat to hold them over until you get home.

*Adventure walks last 30 minutes to an hour or more depending upon the our schedule. We’ve been known to stay out for a couple of hours when the schedule is light! Adventure walks are for dogs that can be trusted off leash (although we will keep them on a leash in the beginning until they get to know us). We go to Wildcat Canyon, Pt. Isabel, The Bulb, Tilden Park and few more little known places where dogs can run free and explore their world. We keep our groups small and the norm is to have 3 dogs in a group. The dogs get a better experience when the groups are small, they get individual attention and it is safer for all concerned that the group leader’s attention is not distracted by a large group.
WEEKEND RATES:
We normally don’t provide walks on weekends, but will accommodate you if we can either with an advanced reservation or an emergency.

DAYCARE
Day care service is available for your social dog in a home setting with a spacious 1/4 acre fully fenced in yard with privacy fencing. Your dog will have all day access to couches, doggy beds, outside fun and treats while you are at work. Space is limited so please make a reservation! You can drop off as early as 6:00am with a reservation and pick up as late as 7:30 PM.

DROP-IN VISITS
We will perform drop in visits while you are out of town for cats and all kinds of pets such as reptiles, guinea pigs, fish, birds, etc. While we are in your home we will scoop kitty litter, water your plants, bring in your mail and even turn on different lights in the house to give the appearance you are there. Your cats may act independent, but they really need regular attention to be happy along with fresh water and food. We are available to provide the necessities along with ear scratches, belly rubs and even a relaxing body massage if it makes them content and comfortable. Treats are always with us and we make sure they are healthy and/or organic. Fees for drop-in visits start at $25.00.
VACATION DROP-IN VISIT FEES
We will meet with you to determine your needs and price accordingly. For a simple drop in to check on cats or other small animals we will feed your pets, scoop litter boxes, bring in mail and water plants for a $25.00 fee if you are within 5 miles of our El Cerrito location. Additional services, or if you are outside the service area, fees will be negotiable.
BOARDING
Don’t check your dog into a kennel where your dog will be in a sterile room or cage. We provide in-home boarding where your dog will be free to sleep on any number of soft doggy beds, the couch or even climb in bed with us for the night if they choose. And those hidden or extra charges for playtime, walks, feeding or administering medication? Forget it! Extras are included when available. We are also practiced in giving subcutaneous shots so if you have a diabetic dog who needs insulin before mealtime we can provide that at no extra charge.
If we are going out on an adventure and there is room for the boarders they get to come too! If you specifically want an Adventure Walk while your dogs are boarding with us, the regular fees will apply. Your dogs will join the daycare dogs during the day for playtime. If you dog needs meds we will provide them with your written authorization for no fee. Feel free to bring your dog’s favorite blankey, bed or toy if you think he will feel safer with something from home. While your dog is staying with us we will upload pictures of her having fun to our Facebook page for you to check in while you are traveling. Note: Because your dog is home-boarded and not in a kennel, space is limited. Please make reservations as far ahead as you can. We will take boarders last-minute if there is space, but we can only guarantee space if you reserve in advance. Please bring a supply of your dog’s regular food. Changing a dog’s diet abruptly can cause health issues. We will provide healthy treats for your dog unless you specify “No Treats.”
BOARDING SERVICES AND FEES
Boarding is $50.00/night for one dog. If boarding multiple dogs from the same household the price goes down to $35.00 per dog.
NATURE WALK PHOTO SHOOTS!
We post pics of your dogs having fun on Facebook. Prints of your favorite pictures are available in our store. We are in the process of building a pet photography business. 1 and 2 hour photo shoots will be available within the next few months.
OTHER SERVICES
The following services are negotiable depending upon travel time and time needed to perform the tasks. Prices start at $25 and can run to $60.00. Services generally need to be scheduled in advance but we can sometimes accommodate last-minute emergencies. Areas covered are El Cerrito, Kensington, Richmond, Berkeley, Albany, San Pablo, and El Sobrante. (Extra charges apply for San Pablo and El Sobrante.)
1. Pet Taxi – take your dog/cat/lizard/etc. to the vet/groomer/etc. while you are at work.
2. Chicken Coops – Clean, feed, care for, collect eggs in your chicken coop while you are out of town.
3. Emergency evening potty breaks – stuck at work doing overtime? Give us a call and we will run over and let your dog(s) out for a quick potty break and give them a treat to tide them over until dinner.
4. Dog Baths – We will take your pup to the closest self-wash facility to bathe, dry, and brush out your dog. $40.00 (add $20.00 for nail clip).
5. Security Checks – did your alarm go off? Are there packages on your porch that need to be brought in so they won’t be stolen? Set your alarm. Make sure you locked your doors. Bring in your mail. Other quick home services as needed.
